Karla and I hit up City Limits Grill a LONG time ago. The pictures got lost in the shuffle, but we’re back with a vengeance. We ordered two things: a Tango’s Deluxe pizza and a Jalapeno Cheddar burger. Somehow I’ve misplaced the pictures of the burger. We were a split decision on the pizza. I actually liked the crust. It reminded me of the way St. Louis style pizza crust is supposed to taste. But Karla didn’t like it. She compared it to a cracker. So if you’re more of a deep dish/greasy crust pizza person, then this pizza will NOT suit you. If you eat deep dish but prefer thin crust or less greasy crusts, you might like it.

At the suggestion of my friend, Alisa, I hit up Jimmy’s Egg a few weekends ago. On a Sunday, during “church hour.” (My version of church-related restaurant rush hour.) Why? Well, not for any specific reason other than that’s when I was hungry. Although, I think a lot can be said about a restaurant during its busiest time. And a lot can be said about people allegedly just coming from church….

Poblano. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the cheese and tortillas and salsa. Oh the hot salsa. Will you marry me hot salsa? I’ll never want another as long as you are with me always. I freaking love, love, love Poblano.

Everything about this picture is right. Fresh tortilla, melty cheese, fresh veggies. All dipped in the most delicious salsa ever made. If only I knew how to make it….
